SDRPY completes 94% of a model school project in Aden

ADEN — The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has completed 94% of the Lutfi Aman model school project, which aims to address the student density problem in schools in the Sirah district, as the distance of the nearest school is between 10-15 km.

The project, which will benefit 1,369 male and female students, targets achieving a safe and comprehensive education environment for both genders, and support education by providing a stimulating and inclusive environment for all as well as enhancing the level of educational attainment of students, and achieve equal educational opportunities.

The SDRPY has implemented 204 development projects and initiatives in various Yemeni governorates to serve the Yemeni citizens in 7 basic sectors, namely health, energy, transportation, water, education, agriculture, and fisheries, capacity building of government institutions, in addition to other development programs.

SDRPY ventures on 2nd

phase of Aden airport

The SDRPY has ventured on the second phase of its project to rehabilitate and develop Aden International Airport in the runway and terminal area, which includes the rehabilitation of the taxi-way, preparing the airport's glass facades, rehabilitating the passenger terminal building and the cargo area, and enhancing the Airport’s energy efficiency.

The project, through the development of Aden International Airport, aims to raise the level and efficiency of the airport, facilitate access, support social bonds, and improve the quality of services for travelers and airlines.
