RIYADH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Bin Ali Al-Beez met here today with Norway's Special Envoy for Yemen Kjersti Tromsdal, accompanied by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Thomas Lid Ball.

During the meeting, two sides discussed issues related to humanitarian and relief affairs.

Eng. Al-Beez introduced the relief and humanitarian projects and programs being provided by KSrelief for Yemen, which reached 647 humanitarian projects, with a value of $3.928 billion.

He also referred to the grave violations committed by the Houthi militia against civilians and humanitarian work in Yemen, including planting mines on Yemeni territory, forcible recruitment of children, bombing hospitals, schools and refugee camps.

This is in addition to the militia’s repeated attacks on civilian objects and facilities in Saudi Arabia.

For her part, Tromsdal expressed her admiration for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s distinguished humanitarian work, through KSrelief, to help the needy and affected people in Yemen and around the world. — SPA
