Kingdom condemns Houthi repeated attacks on south of Saudi Arabia and UAE

RIYADH - Saudi Arabia has condemned on Monday the repeated attacks by the the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on civilian objects and vital installations in the south of the Kingdom and Abu Dhabi.

The attack by the Houthi militia caused on damages to some workshops and civilian vehicles after intercepting a ballistic missile over Dhahran Al-Janoub early Monday, as well as that two residents sustained minor injuries after the Houthis fired a ballistic missile that fell in the industrial area of Ahad Al-Masarihah in Jazan on Sunday.

In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement, Saudi Arabia has affirmed its position in condemning and rejecting all Iranian-backed Houthi militia on the Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and the international shipping corridors in the Red Sea, which are carried out by the terrorist forces that caused destruction in brotherly Yemen, killing the dear Yemeni people and continuing to spread their terrorist acts to destabilize the security and stability of the region.

The Kingdom has warned that the insistence of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia on repeated attacks is a challenge against the international community and a clear violation of the rules of international humanitarian law, and confirms the seriousness of the behavior of these militias on the security and stability of the region.

Saudi Arabia emphasized the urgent need for the international community to act, especially the UN Security Council, to put an end to this aggressive behavior to maintain international peace and security. SG
