The Riyadh police arrested two citizens who were accused of robbing a passerby after running over him with a stolen car.

Legal measures were taken against the assailants and they were referred to the Public Prosecution, the police said.

“The competent authority was able to identify two people who appeared in a video clip that showed that they were assaulting a passerby and robbing him of what he had after running over him with a stolen vehicle,” the police sources said. The stolen car was recovered and the criminals were arrested at the end of a manhunt launched by police immediately after the incident.
