SHAYBAH — Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif and Omani Interior Minister Sayyid Hamoud Bin Faisal Al Busaidi inspected Monday the Empty Quarter border intersection connecting Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The border intersection was inaugurated during the visit of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, to Oman last December.

During the inspection tour, Prince Abdulaziz and Al Busaidi unveiled the two commemorative plaques on this occasion, following which they inspected the service facilities at the border intersection, and were briefed on procedures, and the working mechanism.

The two ministers watched a visual presentation on the projects implemented by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at the Empty Quarter border intersection. — SPA
