Nine new government digital services launched at ‘Digital Saudi’ exhibition

RIYADH — The "Digital Saudi" Exhibition witnessed in the second day, the launching of 9 new government digital services for seven government agencies.

The launches began with the program (Life Experiences — with two aspects of the housing journey and the investor journey). The first program is affiliated with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, while the second program belonged to the Ministry of Investment.

This launch was followed by the launching of the (Ebtda) platform of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s application for individuals.

The second day also included the launch of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (Cx Award), and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “Sdaya” launched Deem cloud store in addition to the Sharek service, with signing 3 memoranda of understanding with: (software AG, IDC, HPE).

Moreover, the Digital Government Authority launched (Gov Tech) program and the sustainability methodology in government investment with the International Telecommunication Union.

Digital Saudi is considered an interactive platform for the beneficiaries, such as investors, entrepreneurs, citizens and residents, in addition to government agencies, to know about all digital government services.

It helps reviewing the digital government process in the Kingdom and showing its qualitative initiatives to promote government digital transformation, launching a set of national programs and platforms, international agreements and a set of new government services and products.

In addition, the Digital Saudi Exhibition aims to enhance the positive image of the Kingdom’s digital leadership globally, which is reflected in achieving advanced positions in various international indicators.

The Kingdom ranked second among the G20 countries in the digital competitiveness report issued by the European Center for Digital Competitiveness of 2021, and raised the attractiveness foreign investment in the Kingdom in digital and technical fields and projects. The digital government services number exceeded 4,500 services, with a maturity level of more than 83%.

The Digital Government Authority is organizing the exhibition over three days, with the participation of about 30 government agencies in the Kingdom, which is held within the activities of the LEAP Conference. — SPA
