Saudi Gazette Report

RIYADH — The news that went viral recently about the Absher platform and Tawakkalna application being merged is incorrect, Assistant Minister of Interior for Technical Affairs Prince Dr. Bandar Bin Abdullah Bin Mashari stated.

There is no truth about the apps Absher and Tawakkalna being merged to become one app, Prince Dr. Bandar said.

Prince Dr. Bandar clarified this point during the Innovation and the Future of Government Work conference.

He said that the statement came spontaneously and was only an opinion from a person during his participation in the LEAP International Technology Conference that was held in Riyadh last week.

Meanwhile, National Information Center Director Dr. Issam Al-Waqit confirmed that Absher platform and the Tawakulna app are considered complementary to each other, and he denied the existence of any step to integrate them.
