RIYADH — The capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been witnessing an exciting diversity of local and global events that attract the attention of visitors and tourists from Saudi Arabia and abroad.
Riyadh nowadays hosts a real-life Squid Game Experience, where the General Authority for Entertainment (GEA) organized this event to provide players with a full experience of six different games inspired from the famous Korean series "Squid Game".
The Squid Game Experience in Riyadh offers an identical experience of the games shown in the series, starting from meeting the soldiers in their red suits and ending with announcing the winner, thus making Saudi Arabia the first in the entire world to offer the Squid Game event at this level, with all its games.
The authority allocated a special zone for the event on an area of 9,582 square meters at Boulevard Riyadh City, Riyadh. In only 35 days, the vast area was built with the different zones for the six levels of the game, where all spaces in the game world came to life in Riyadh.
To make it as realistic as could be, the three-meter-tall animatronic doll is installed, while the tug of war set is built way three-meter above the ground to keep players excited.
Organizer of the experience managed to balance offering the real experience with ensuring the safety of players, where in the glass stepping stones, the breakable glass is replaced with sensor and red lights.
About 70 players can get in Saudi Arabia the full experience starting from receiving cards, meeting soldiers and masked Front Man, wearing clothes, playing games in different sets and even the intensity and excitement.
The Squid Game Experience in Saudi Arabia attracts hundreds of Saudis, residents and tourists, as tickets are sold out on most days.
