RIYADH — The Saudi Electronic University, between Feb. 21 and 23, 2022, is scheduled to hold the Global Trends in e-Learning Forum (GTEL), which will provide and discuss the best international practices in electronic learning and training through innovative technologies.

GTEL will host top leaders and innovators of education from various countries of the world, under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh.

Saudi Electronic University President Prof. Lilac Al-Safadi praised the patronage of the minister of education and his continuous efforts in serving education and digital transformation, noting that the university organizes this forum out of its scientific responsibility as a leading university in e-education.

Prof. Lilac Al-Safadi noted that the number of speakers will exceed 40 through six discussion panels, five workshops and five lectures, pointing out that the forum will be accompanied by a virtual exhibition with the participation of more than 50 global companies.

These firms lead the technological advancement in education and training from 20 countries, where the exhibition provides an opportunity for those interested from around the world to assess and test future e-education technologies.

She added that the forum will also address the most important developments, trends, technologies, innovations and modern patterns that form the future of e-education, and will play a role in enhancing exchanging knowledge with the help of academia to explore future changes concerned with education and training.
