CAIRO — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh met with Deputy Head of Religious Administration for Muslims of the Russian Federation Rushan Abassoof on the sidelines of his official visit to Egypt to participate in 13th session of the Executive Council of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
During the meeting in Cairo, both sides reviewed several issues of mutual interest in the Islamic field and issues that can serve Islamic action according to the moderation approach.
Abassoof referred to the big efforts of the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince, in serving Islam and the entire humanity, stressing that Saudi Arabia is a pioneer in the Islamic world and its efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques are appreciated by all Muslims of the world.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sheikh offered Abassoof a prestigious copy of the Holy Qur’an from the publications of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an. — SPA
