Saudi foreign minister holds talks with EU’s Borrell over Iran deal

MUNICH – Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan has met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on Sunday in Munich.

The two sides talked about various issues, including the Vienna talks on the revival of the Iran nuclear deal and Yemen. They discussed ways to enhance joint efforts to stop the violations of the terrorist Houthi militia against Yemen and its people, which are obstructing the political solution in Yemen.

During the meeting, they reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and the European Union and ways to enhance and support them in all areas of cooperation and joint coordination.

The meeting also dealt with the latest regional and international developments and the efforts exerted in their regard, especially the strengthening of international peace and security.
