RIYADH — Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid Bin Hussein Al-Bayari Monday made a tour to inspect the pavilion of the Ministry of Defense at the World Defense Show 2022 and accompanying events.

The event will be held in Riyadh between March 6 and 9, 2022 under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman amidst the participation of major specialized companies.

He was also briefed on the latest final preparations and arrangements for the Ministry of Defense pavilion before the official inauguration and on the land fixed shows and aerial shows, listening to a detailed briefing by work teams of all relevant work and tasks.

The Ministry of Defense is a main partner in the World Defense Show that is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) once every two years with the aim of enabling defense and security institutions to keep pace with the latest defense and technical solutions developments.

This in a way accords with set goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 that seeks to utilize available opportunities to develop the defense and security fields and enhance the process of localizing industries of the sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. — SPA
