PNU Prize for Women’s Excellence to be celebrated on Tuesday

RIYADH — Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will celebrate on Tuesday the winners of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University Prize for Women’s Excellence in its fourth session, in the presence of Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Bin Muhammad Al-Sheikh, in the University Conferences and Seminars Center.

The Prize includes 6 fields: health sciences (women’s health), natural sciences (energy and renewable energy), literature (studies that highlight local identity and national heritage), social works (women’s endowments), economic projects (pioneering projects that contributed to supporting domestic tourism), and art work (Arabic calligraphy).

The award aims to introduce the achievements of the Saudi women, highlight them and appreciate the distinguished and creative women, in addition to motivating the new generations of women to contribute to the comprehensive development and support the distinguished women's work. — SPA
