March 08, 2022

RIYADH — The Saudi Falcons Club is taking part in the World Defense Show organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) in Riyadh from March 6-9, through a special corner in the Culture Ministry’s pavilion.

Visitors to the Club’s section can enjoy a cultural journey that highlights this ancient heritage and its connection to men in the Arabian Peninsula for thousands of years, as falconry is a way of life and a hobby that Arabs have inherited generation after generation.

The Saudi Falconry Club aims to define and spread this ancient heritage through the establishment of activities, events, festivals and auctions that preserve the hobby of falconry. The club is also keen to participate in all global and international events to shed light on this ancient heritage.

The Club’s goals are honed with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in terms of enhancing the quality of the environment and wildlife in the Kingdom, protecting falcons, and reviving the hobbies associated with them. — SPA
