RIYADH — The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), Thursday at its headquarters in Riyadh, is scheduled to organize the Saudi-US Business Forum with the participation of the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia and attendance of 70 US businesspeople representing major US companies in the fields of security and defense, renewable energy, healthcare, information technology, and standards and metrology, who will meet with 120 Saudi businesspeople representing various Saudi companies and the business sector.
The forum will attract 14 ministries and government authorities, at the top of which are the Ministry of Investment and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, which will review investment opportunities for the US delegation, and privileges for opening and transferring main headquarters of these companies to Riyadh.
This is in addition to updates on investment systems in Saudi Arabia. The forum will also see the participation of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) and the National Center for Privatization to discuss US investors’ interests in privatization.
Other government institutions participating in the forum include the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Digital Government Authority, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Health, Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization. — SPA
