Dr. Al Rabeeah, WFP officials review humanitarian and relief projects

AMMAN — The Adviser at the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, met in Amman Friday, the representative of the World Food Program (WFP) for the Gulf States Abdul Majeed Yahya, the WFP representative and country director in Jordan Alberto Mendes, and country director of WFP office in Yemen Richard Ragan, on the sidelines of his current visit to Jordan.

During the meeting, Dr. Al Rabeeah reviewed the humanitarian and relief projects provided by KSRelief to afflicted and needy countries around the world, which amounted to 1,919 projects in 79 countries, mainly in Yemen.

He also discussed the most important developments in the joint projects between the Center and the KSRelief in the regions under their administration to address hunger and ensure that all food and nutritional assistance reaches the needy wherever they are.

The World Food Program officials praised during the meeting the strategic relationship between the center and the program, extending their appreciation for the fruitful cooperation in implementing the program's projects in the targeted countries. — SPA
