King, Crown Prince condole death of former Zambian president

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of condolences to President Hakainde Hichilema of the Republic of Zambia on the death of former President Rupiah Banda of Zambia.

In his cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed deep sorrow and sympathy to the President of Zambia on the sad demise of the former president. He extended deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and the friendly people of Zambia.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has also sent a cable of condolence to President Hichilema on the death of Rupiah Banda.

In his cable, the Crown Prince expressed profound sorrow and sympathy to the President of Zambia on the sad news and extended his feelings of sympathy to the family of the deceased. — SPA
