Saudi Arabia to host next General Assembly of Arab auditing institutions

DOHA — President of Saudi General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam Alangari headed GCA's delegation participating in the 63rd Governing Board Meeting of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) that concluded in Doha, Qatar, on Monday with the participation of the heads of supreme audit institutions (SAI).

The two-day meeting discussed the activities of the board, General Secretariat and committees. The board also discussed the report of the Governing Board's Chairman and the Secretary General's report on the activities of the Board and the General Secretariat since the last meeting, as well as reports of the SAI participating in the committees and working groups of INTOSAI.

The meeting also approved the final account of the Organization for the year 2021 and the 2022 Budget. Moreover, the meeting approved the dates of the next meetings of the Governing Board and General Assembly to be hosted by Saudi Arabia. — SPA
