President Sudan’s Transitional Council leaves Riyadh

RIYADH — President of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan and his accompanying delegation left Riyadh on Tuesday after talks with Saudi leaders.

At King Khalid International Airport, they were seen off by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Advisor, Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban (the accompanying minister); Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jaafar; Director of Riyadh Police Major General Fahd bin Zaid Al-Mutairi; Sudan's Ambassador to the Kingdom Adel bin Bashir Hassan Bashir and a representative of the royal protocol.

On Monday, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, held talks with Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan.

During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of Saudi-Sudanese relations in various fields and opportunities to develop them.

They also discussed a number of issues of common interest. — SPA
