JEDDAH — The second round of Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will officially start its activities on Sunday at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, at 8:00 pm, with the participation of 20 world racing drivers representing 10 teams.
Yesterday (Saturday), the qualifying round leading up to today's event concluded, with Mexican racing driver Sergio Pérez, the Red Bull Racing driver, securing first place in today's race.
Sergio Pérez came first in the standings, after achieving the best lap with a time of 1:28.200, ahead of Monaco racing driving Charles Leclerc for Ferrari team by 0.025 seconds, who secured the second pole with a time of 1:28.225, while his Spanish teammate racing driver Carlos Sainz ranked third with a time of 1:28.402, while Dutch driver Max Verstappen booked the Red Bull team fourth place in the grid with a time of 1:28.461, while the results of the qualifying round were as follows:
