RIYADH — The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf has reiterated the council’s firm position regarding finding a political solution to the Yemeni crisis in order to achieve peace, security and stability in Yemen.

These remarks were made Sunday during his meeting with Yemen’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak in Riyadh.

The two sides discussed during the meeting the developments regarding the political, military and economic conditions in the Republic of Yemen.

Dr. Al-Hajraf also stressed the GCC states’ keenness on supporting everything that achieves the interests of the Yemeni people, in addition to supporting regional and international efforts in this regard to achieve security and stability. — SPA
