JAKARTA — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh held here Sunday a meeting with Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, as part of his official visit to Indonesia.

The two sides discussed several issues related to cooperation in Islamic affairs, spreading moderation, and combating radicalism and extremism in light of a memorandum of understanding signed between the brotherly countries to serve Islam and Muslims.

Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Issam Bin Ahmad Al-Thaqafi and senior officials from both ministries attended the meeting. — SPA
