RIYADH — CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad in his office Tuesday received a delegation from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, headed by acting Head of the Middle East and East Asia Office at the foundation James Carty and advisor of the foundation in Saudi Arabia Eng. Bahirah Khashim.
The meeting went over some existing development projects and programs that are financed by the SFD in various developing countries around the world, which aim at enhancing healthcare and limiting extreme poverty.
This is in addition to schemes that contribute to providing education opportunities. The meeting also discussed joint fields and went over cooperation opportunities. — SPA
