JAKARTA — Indonesia’s Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas stresses that the visit of Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh has several lessons for the Indonesia people, mainly those pertaining to moderation.
He made the remarks while he was seeing off Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta upon concluding his official visit to Indonesia on Thursday.
Qoumas said we take several lessons related to moderation and how Saudi Arabia applies moderation; Indonesia wants to follow Saudi Arabia's suit in instilling the value of moderation. Expressing appreciation on behalf of the Indonesian government and people to the Kingdom for what Saudi Arabia is doing regarding Hajj services, he stressed that Indonesia is the biggest country that dispatches pilgrims and has love and respect for Saudi Arabia for its services provided to pilgrims. — SPA
