RIYADH — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the King Fahd Cultural Center in Argentina, inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman's program for iftar for the 1443 Hijri year, which targets around 15,000 beneficiaries.

The inauguration ceremony was in the presence of Deputy Saudi Ambassador to Argentina Yousef Al-Mawwash, Acting Center Director Nayef Al-Fuaim, and several members of the diplomatic mission and center’s staff.

Al-Mawwash said that the Iftar program is part of programs that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has directed to hold in Ramadan in several countries, including Argentina, as part of the continuous support offered by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to serve Islamic action.

For his part, Al-Fuaim noted that the program targets around 15,000 beneficiaries, where 1,700 food baskets, which contain all requirements of households of food throughout the holy month, will be distributed in the capital and its suburbs.

This is in addition to other main cities, such as Córdoba and Rosario, and in the northern Argentine, such as Tucumán, Salta and Jujuy, where the Muslim community is present, and to states of the southern Argentina, noting that the center works on distributing them according to the preventive procedures. — SPA
