PARIS — Saudi Arabia participated in the works of the 214th session of the Executive Council of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which has been held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, it was reported here Tuesday.

Princess Haifa Bint Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Bin Ayyaf, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to UNESCO, represented the Kingdom in the meeting, which took place Sunday and will last until April 14, 2022.

Saudi Arabia's participation comes as a continuation of the efforts to support the fields of culture, education and science, led by Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, who is also Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science. — SPA
