Kidana launches project to develop areas near Jabal Al-Rahma in Arafat

MAKKAH — Kidana Development Company announced the launch of a project to develop and facelift the areas adjacent to Jabal Al-Rahma (Mount of Mercy) on the plains of Arafat as part of an initiative for the beautification of Holy Sites.

The project aims to upgrade services and facilities to make available quality services to the pilgrims and visitors of the area surrounding Jabal Al-Rahma throughout the year, in a way that keeps pace with the requirements of the times.

The project, which covers an area of 200,000 square meters, includes a package of services that will elevate the place and make it more comfortable.

The project includes public parking lots for buses and vehicles of visitors, renovation of toilets and construction of new toilets, lighting the Jabal Al-Rahma and the surrounding area, and developing and renovating poles to sprinkle water to soften the climate and taps for drinking water.

The project will also include preserving green areas, sitting areas and walkaway, in addition to selling points of restaurants and cafes, guiding system, platforms for TV channels, security watchtowers, and sites designated for government agencies serving pilgrims and visitors.
