JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, made a telephone call to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China on Friday.
During the telephone conversation, the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them within the Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee were discussed. The two sides also agreed to exert more effort to enhance partnership and strategic relations between the two friendly countries. The overall international situations and issues were also reviewed.
During the telephone conversation, China's President lauded the pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the region as well as its efforts to bring about peace and stability in Yemen. — SPA
