Finance minister heads Saudi Arabia's delegation to IMF, WB meetings

RIYADH — The Minister of Finance, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, headed Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the Spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), in Washington, DC, from April 19 until April 24, 2022.

Al-Jadaan said he’s looking forward to participating in the IMF and WBG Spring Meetings and the G20 Indonesia FMCBG Meeting.

“The world must join efforts once again to be able to overcome the rising challenges while safeguarding the global economic recovery,” he added.

The Saudi delegation included the Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) Dr. Fahad Al-Mubarak, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Al-Murshed and a number of specialists from the Ministry of Finance, SAMA and SFD. — SG
