MADINAH — Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammed Shehbaz Sharif visited on Thursday the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

During his visit, Shehbaz has performed prayers, and was honored to greet the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) and his two companions - may Allah Almighty be pleased with them both.

Upon his arrival at the Prophet’s Mosque, the PM was received by a number of senior civil and military officials.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan’s Prime Minister has arrived here in Madinah on Thursday at Prince Muhammad International Airport, and it is his maiden foreign trip after sworn in as prime minister of Pakistan earlier this month after the country’s parliament ousted his predecessor Imran Khan in a no-confidence vote. — SPA
