Saudi, Jordanian Chiefs of Staff discuss military cooperation

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Chief of General Staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili received here on Thursday Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, and the accompanying delegation who are currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

Al-Ruwaili welcomed Huneiti to his second country –Saudi Arabia- and wished him and his entourage a pleasant stay. During the meeting, they discussed close bilateral relations between the two countries and reviewed the prospects of military cooperation and ways of further promoting and strengthening the cooperation.

They also discussed issues of common interest that support the security and stability of the region.


On his part, Huneiti expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom. He thanked for the hospitality and good reception being accorded to him and his accompanying delegation.
