JEDDAH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah called on all departing Umrah performers to adhere to the sizes, weights and specifications of travel baggage at the departure stage. It also asked the to communicate with the airline carrier when needed to ensure the specifications allowed when traveling as well as adhere to the instructions issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.

The ministry also circulated to all Saudi Umrah companies to confirm and follow up on the departure of Umrah performers based on their flight times and the need to educate them about the permitted travel baggage sizes and dimensions.

It stressed that this procedure makes it easier for the Umrah performers to complete their departure procedures and contributes to reducing the waiting time in the departure halls. — SPA
