RIYADH — Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef will head the Saudi Arabia delegation to a visit to South Africa, which includes the participation of the ministry and other government institutions under the “Invest Saudi” Program in the Investing in African Mining (INDABA) conference between May 9-12.
The Saudi pavilion in the conference will review the Kingdom’s efforts to develop the mining sector through facilitating access to the geological data and the updates.
These were made on the laws and regulations to provide a proper environment to attract investments and build pillars for sustainability and developing a mining sector based on the comprehensive value series.
As part of the ministry’s participation in the conference, Al-Khorayef is scheduled to deliver a speech on the inauguration day on May 9.
This will be followed by a speech by Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resource for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer on the second day, before participating in the government summit on the third day of the conference.
The pavilion of the ministry and other government institutions will continue throughout the conference days. — SPA
