RIYADH — Grand Mufti and Head of the Islamic Sheikhdom in Kosovo Sheikh Naim Ternava visited the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah on Tuesday.

Sheikh Ternava toured the facilities of the complex and production lines and listened to a briefing on the stages of printing and work mechanisms of the complex. He commended the perfect work and big efforts in publishing more than 350 million copies of the Holy Qur’an, translating its meanings into more than 80 global languages, including Albanian, and distributing them to all countries of the world.

This highlights the care given by Saudi Arabia’s leadership to the Holy Book, he added.

The Kosovo mufti also referred to what Saudi Arabia has offered in the Balkans through the gift of one million copies of the Holy Qur’an to Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro.

The complex has witnessed a qualitative leap over the past few years, helping it increase the number of printed copies of the Holy Qur’an to 20 million copies per year. — SPA
