DAMMAM — The Ministry of Interior announced on Monday the arrest of 942 environmental violations that were reported from early April until May 22 in a number of regions in the Kingdom.

This comes as part of the implementation of the campaign carried out by the Interior Ministry, represented by the Special Forces for Environmental Security (SFES), and the supporting security agencies, in follow-up within cities and governorates.

Public Security urges everyone to report any cases that represent a violation of the environmental or wildlife regulations in all regions of the Kingdom.

The administrative system in the Kingdom aims to preserve the environment, protect natural resources and rationalize their use, in addition to preventing pollution and harmful acts that threaten the environment and endanger the public health.
