ANTANANARIVO — Advisor at the Royal Court Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan met with Madagascar’s Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Léon Rakotonirina at the capital, Antananarivo. Madagascar backs Saudi Arabia’s bid to host World Expo 2030

During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations, in addition to the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, the Malagasy minister announced that his country, in implementation of directives of the president, supports Saudi Arabia’s bid to host World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

For his part, Qattan expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s gratitude and appreciation for this support that stems from the distinguished relations between the two countries. — SPA
