SAKAKA — Basma Bint Ibrahim Al-Khanjar, a scholarship student from Al-Jouf University, has secured a research grant from the Office of the US Secretary of Defense, as part of the research supported by Florida Atlantic University.

The Florida Atlantic University is an American public research university. She is currently doing her doctoral studies in computer sciences in the United States.

Basma’s research topic is the use of the Internet of Things in the field of military battles, and the use of security technologies to maintain, secure and retrieve the sites of military equipment and soldiers from trusted agencies.

Al-Jouf University congratulated Basma and wished her and all other sons and daughters of the country further progress and success.
