TABUK — Governor of Tabuk Prince Fahd Bin Sultan honored the Saudi school student Itizaz Saad Al-Nafaie for winning second place in the Worldwide Mental Arithmetic Competition (WAMAS-2022). The Emir presented his pen as a gift to the brilliant girl who brought laurels to the Kingdom.

Congratulating Itizaz on her marvelous achievement, Prince Fahd wished her more success. He also highlighted the utmost keenness of the wise Saudi leadership and their support for the outstanding students in all scientific fields.

“I am very happy to meet you and everyone is proud of the achievement that has been made,” the Emir said while praising the great efforts of her family, as well as her school and teachers for facilitating the best environment for Itizaz to demonstrate her excellence and support her talent at the level of the Kingdom and the entire world.

He also wished all the very best and every success for all the sons and daughters of the region.

On her part, Maram Al-Atwi, head of the Tabuk International Schools, congratulated Emir of Tabuk for this global achievement, which comes as a result of the great support that the education sector in the region receives from him.

“This also comes as an extension of the local and international achievements made by students of public education in all regions of the Kingdom,” she noted.

Itizaz emerged second among hundreds of talented students from over 25 countries during the annual competition, organized by the World Association of Mental Arithmetic Schools (WAMAS) at Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt on June 1 and 2.
