RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) stated that the regular period for the foreign vehicle to stay inside Saudi Arabia is 3 months.

ZATCA’s clarification came after a person inquired about the possibility of bringing two vehicles from abroad to the Kingdom for personal use.

It confirmed that a fine will be imposed if the regular period of stationing the foreign vehicle within the Kingdom exceeds the limit.

In the event that the foreign car stays in the Kingdom for more than 3 months, a fine of SR20 will be imposed for each day of delay, and not exceeding 10% of the vehicle' value.
