RIYADH — The Saudi-Indonesian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shoura Council held here Sunday a meeting, chaired by member of the council and head of the committee Osamah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, with Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz Ahmad.

At the outset of the meeting, the head of the committee praised the relations between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia in all fields, mainly those related to the parliamentary work between the Shoura Council and the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly.

The meeting stressed the importance of more work to enhance ties for broader aspects between the two countries in various domains.

For his part, the Indonesian ambassador commended the level of distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia in various fields.

He referred to the significance of enhancing joint action in parliamentary fields and exchanging visits by officials of the two institutions and parliamentary friendship committees. — SPA
