CAIRO — Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held wide-ranging talks at Al-Ittihadyiya Palace here on Tuesday.

Their talks focused on achieving security, stability, development and peace with a unified vision for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples, as well as for the Arab and Islamic nations, according to the Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

El Sisi hosted an official reception ceremony for the Crown Prince, who arrived on Monday evening in Cairo on the first leg of a regional tour that will also take him to Jordan and Turkey.

At the conclusion of the two-day visit, the Crown Prince has left for Jordan.

Rady said in a statement that Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s meeting with President El-Sisi focused on discussions on the entire gamut of bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in diverse fields.

The leaders discussed regional and international political issues of mutual concern within the framework of the deep and historical strategic partnership between Cairo and Riyadh.
