MAKKAH – The police in Makkah arrested three residents and one Yemeni visitor for attempting to cheat Hajj pilgrims by selling bogus coupons of Adahi (Saudi Project for Utilization of Sacrificial Animals) project.

It was found that three expatriates joined with a Yemeni national, who arrived in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa, in creating a website in the name of a non-existent fake establishment for the sale of Adahi coupons illegally.

They tried to lure Hajj pilgrims to buy the fake coupons that are offered at cheaper rates.

Police said that legal procedures were taken against them and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
