Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al-Adha holidays for private and non-profit sectors

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has announced the date of the Eid Al-Adha holidays for the private and the non-profit sector.

The MHRSD stated that the Eid Al-Adha holidays for the two sectors will last for 4 days starting from the Day of Standing in Arafat on 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to July 8, until the end of 12 Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to July 11.

The cases of overlap stipulated in Article 24 of the Executive Regulations of the Labor Law will be taken into consideration, the ministry confirmed.

Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court announced on Wednesday that the ritual standing at Arafat, which marks the climax of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj, will be on Friday, July 8. The first day of Eid Al-Adha will be on Saturday, July 9.
