JEDDAH — The Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh (Jurisprudence) Academy (IIFA), Dr Koutoub Moustapha Sano, has met with the US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt and her accompanying delegation at IIFA's headquarters in Jeddah.

At outset of the meeting, US Envoy expressed her happiness at visiting the IIFA), praising its great efforts in standing up against hate speech, violence and extremism and hostility to religions and symbols.

For his part, Dr. Sano welcomed Ambassador Lipstadt, affirming IIFA’s full support for all efforts and activities aimed at promoting human dignity and rejecting violence, extremism and intolerance. — SPA
