MAKKAH — This year's Hajj will be the penultimate Hajj that pilgrims will perform during the summer season.
These headlines came according to the Al-Mashaer Bulletin, which was published by the Ministry of Hajj in the year of 1429 AH with a title of Classification of Hajj years from 1201 AH until 1500 AH.
This year's Hajj season 1443 AH completed 7 years of its summer cycle, which began in 1437 AH and will end in the Hajj season in 1444 AH, during which pilgrims will encounter this season, the penultimate pilgrimage in the summer.
After these two Hajj seasons, the Hajj season will come in the spring season in the Hijri year 1445, which will last for 9 years, until the year 1453 AH.
It is worth mentioning that the Hajj during the spring season will be the longest number of years in which the Hajj season extends compared to other seasons.
After the end of the year 1453 AH, the Hajj season will begin during the winter season period, and it will start from the Hijri year 1454 and will last for 8 years, until it ends in the Hijri year 1461.
According to the four seasons, the Hajj years will be in the fall, extending from 1462 to 1469 AH.
After the end of the Hajj in 1469 AH, the four seasons will then have completed its cycle over the duration of 33 Hijri years, to begin again with the Hajj season once again entering the summer cycle.
