MADINAH —The Cardiac Diseases and Surgery Center of Madinah Health Cluster has implemented 19 cardiac catheterization operations for pilgrims within 10 days.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that all operations were successful, noting that the Madinah Cardiac Center has received several cases during the past few days, as they were transferred from hospitals and the Red Crescent Operations Center.

The Madinah Cardiac Center, after referring the patients, provided them with all the necessary health care, which included several examinations and accurate medical procedures.

The Center offers several advantages to pilgrims, including medical care, treatments and medicines needed for heart patients in quantities sufficient for the pilgrim throughout his stay in Saudi Arabia.

By this consideration it will contribute to enabling him to complete the Hajj rituals in good health.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health, among its preparations for Hajj 2022, has prepared a number of hospitals and health centers in Makkah, the Holy Sites and Madinah.

The Ministry has equipped about 23 hospitals and 147 health centers, as well as the participation of more than 25,000 health practitioners to assist pilgrims.

This is in addition to 4,654 inpatient beds in hospitals, in addition to 1080 beds designated for intensive care, while the number of beds designated for heat stroke reached 238.
