Pilgrims’ descent from Arafat to Muzdalifah a big success: Prince Khaled Al-Faisal

MUZDALIFAH – Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, announced that the plan for the descent of the pilgrims from Arafat to Muzdalifah was a great success. Prince Khaled, who is also chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, said that the plan was carried out within four hours in ease and comfort.

The pilgrims’ movement to Muzdalifah was on board the Mashaer train and shuttle bus services that operated without reporting any incidents on any of the security, traffic and health levels. Among the 899353 pilgrims who were provided transportation, 205,000 pilgrims took advantage of the train service while 699348 pilgrims were transported via 16,000 buses.

Prince Khaled Al-Faisal said that the movement of pilgrims at the Holy Sites is being undertaken easily and smoothly, thanks to the excellent services being provided by the Saudi government.

The emir stressed that all sectors and government agencies concerned with serving the pilgrims are implementing their operations plans in accordance with the instructions given to them and they are achieving complete success in their respective sectors.
