MADINAH — Col. Mohammad Abu Dahesh, director of Operations Affairs at Madinah Airport Passports, said that many teams assigned to the airport's passport employees at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah are able to speak a number of languages.

Abu Dahesh said during his interview with the Al-Ekhbariya channel, the teams facilitate the process of communicating with pilgrims in the airport terminals from different countries, in addition to guiding them on the routes designated for travel and answering their inquiries and providing quick service.

Abu Dahesh confirmed that teams that speak several languages are present at the airport around the clock in all terminals.

He added that the procedures of departing the pilgrims are distinguished by the presence of modern technical devices that serve the employee and the traveler in verifying the validity of papers and documents carried by the traveler.

Passport employees are also able, through modern technology devices, to verify the identity of the pilgrim through fingerprinting and eagle eye scanning.

This is in addition to the presence of smart technologies that monitor the validity of the passport of the pilgrim, traveler or visitor.

It is worth noting that pilgrims still flock from Makkah to Madinah and then leave for their countries, Abu Dahesh indicated.

He stressed that the Jawazat staff at the Madinah Airport are doing their best to complete the procedures for the pilgrims.
