Prince Abdulaziz, Thai minister discuss cooperation in petroleum refining, renewable energy and clean hydrogen

RIYADH — Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman met here Monday with Thailand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Supattanapong Punmeechaow and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of energy, including: petroleum refining, renewable energy and clean hydrogen.

This is in addition to the circular carbon economy techniques to reduce the effects of emissions, in order to achieve their common interests.

They also discussed the opportunities available in the Kingdom of Thailand in the fields of energy and petrochemicals.

This is in addition to ways of cooperation in the fields of research, development, innovation and artificial intelligence in the energy sector. — SPA
