RIYADH — The remittances of expatriates residing in Saudi Arabia have recorded a decrease of two percent, reaching about SR13.21 billion during June 2022 while compared to the same period in 2021.
This was revealed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). “The remittances of expatriates during June 2022 recorded an increase of 17 percent, amounting to about SR1.93 billion, while compared to the previous month of May 2022,” SAMA said in its latest report.
As for the Saudi citizens’ remittances abroad, SAMA indicated that it recorded a 5 percent increase, reaching SR6.75 billion, during last June, compared to the same period in 2021.
